Cabbage Leaf Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1-2 cups cabbage leaves (chopped)
- 1 small cabbage head (chopped, optional)
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 medium potato (peeled and diced)
- 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- 1/2 cup milk or coconut milk (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pot, add onions and garlic, and sauté until soft.
- Stir in turmeric and cumin.
- Add cabbage leaves, chopped cabbage, and potatoes. Sauté for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the broth, bring to a boil, then simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Blend until smooth using an immersion or regular blender.
- Stir in milk or coconut milk (optional).
- Season with salt and pepper, then serve warm.
Variations:
- Add carrots or celery for extra nutrients.

- Top with toasted nuts or seeds for crunch.
